Net Art from the 2002 Whitney Biennial
The 2002 Whitney Biennial
includes the following works that further explore the notion of how the
network is transforming, in the larger sense, the way we think about mappings,
geographies, distance, time, etc. The map is changing. Rather than simply
being used to chart physical space, works are being constructed to visualize
and map virtual space. Notes are culled from the Whitney's "Artport"
site curated by Christiane Paul.
