Cyberatlas
Cyberatlas,
a project of the Guggenheim Virtual
Museum, is an ambitious cartography charting Net Art, theory, and related
linkages in cyberspace. Organized by media curator Jon Ippolito, with
contributions by such writers and practioners as Timothy Druckrey, Benjamin
Weill, Laura Trippi, among others, Cyberatlas is a valiant attempt to
archive and keep up to date the transient sites that dot the firmament
of the Internet. Such mappings as "Electronic Sky," "Intelligent
Life," "Digital Techtronics," and "Extension"
survey the burgeoning visual arts culture with commentary and links to
art sites.
